Hi-Fi for Pleasure, in April (year unknown) carried out a Test Bench review of the Kef R105 Mk II, JBL L150, Linn Isobarik DMS and SEAS DD Tower. Here is the DMS review, the conclusions and an errata published sometime later. BarryJHart

In February 1980, Popular Hi-Fi paid a visit to a man with Naim driven Aktiv PMS Isobariks. This review brings back fond memories as I remember reading it and salivating over the prospect. It also features exactly the same LP12 setup (Ittok LVII/Asak) that I started with in 1981.

Note that the Isobarik stands have castors. I believe spikes were not made popular until later in the 80's. Note also the pre-Valhalla LP12. You can tell from the on/off switch.

The same month, they also published a piece called Isobarbarism.
